Q: How do I make a custom order? A: There's a section on the website with all the "Custom Order Info." Simply message me to discuss what you're after or check out the several listings on the website that give you the option to choose the type of vessel/jar, size, aroma, whether it is decorated or not & how it is decorated!
Q: Where do you ship? A: At this current point in time, we only ship AUSTRALIA wide. Postage is a flat rate of $12 for STANDARD shipping or $20 for EXPRESS shipping. Orders over $100 get FREE STANDARD shipping. All orders are packed using the utmost care & are sent via AUSPOST. Postage prices are subject to change due to the price changes in AUSPOSTS shipping rates.
Q: What is your processing time? A: Boho Tranquility Creations is my side business, meaning I do work a Full Time Job as well. I do my best to ensure a 2 - 7 business day processing time. Custom Orders can take longer due to being made to order as well as the size of the order placed. During SALES process times can be delayed due to the amount of orders being received. A courtesy email/message will be sent if your order will be affected with a delay.
Q: Do you offer discounts on large orders? A: Yes we do! For more information on bulk pricing, contact us.

Q : What does your products smell like? A: There's a section on the website with our entire "Aroma List" & a detailed description of each scent to best help you understand what it'll smell like before you purchase. If you don't want to commit to a large product being unsure of a scent, there's always out "Shot Pots" which are a perfect way to test a scent or 2.
Q: What wax do you use? A: At Boho Tranquility Creations we only use 100% natural Soy Wax. Our Soy Wax contains NO GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms), NO Paraffin, NO unnatural additives & are Kosher certified. Our Soy Wax is 100% plant based making it Vegan friendly.
Q: How are your products made? A: All Boho Tranquility Creations products are handmade/poured with love, in Australia at our home, based in rural NSW. BTC is a 1-woman business. All our materials/supplies are consciously sourced ensuring that BTC gets the best quality & life of the final products.
Q: Can I have more information on the fragrances you use? A: At Boho Tranquility Creations we use fragrances that have been made using the highest quality of materials ensuring you get the best scent throw. Our fragrances are Vegan, Cruelty free, Paraben free & Phthalate free. Our fragrances are known to not have that "synthetic" smell like some other brands do.
Q: How do you calculate your burn time? A: Our burn time is calculated based on our test burning for the recommended 2-4 hours at a time. If you burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time your candle will burn faster & will decrease the overall burn time of your candle. This is because the jar heats up to the hotter than recommended temperature, resulting in the wax melting faster. To get the most out of your burn time, we recommend not burning your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Q : How do I choose to pick up my order? A: The website doesn't have the option for "Pick up" due to Boho Tranquility Creations being ran out of my home & I don't feel comfortable having my address listed on the website for all to see. Message me BEFORE you make your purchase. I can organise to have your order listed on the website under "Custom Order Listings" & then you can add it to your cart & add the discount code PICKUP at checkout which will void the postage cost.
Q : How come my candle/melt has a yellow/orange discolouration? A: Wax will be affected by natural &/or artificial light at some point. Dye-free candles will start to yellow & dyed wax will eventually fade. Fragrances with a high vanillin content & many citrus scents can cause the wax to develop a yellow tint within 24 hours. Fragrances with small amounts of vanillin & floral scents can cause a gradual yellowing over time. This DOES NOT affect the candle/melt at all, it is only a cosmetic issue.
Q : How come my candle/melt has got a white texture on it? A: "Frosting" which it is commonly called is a byproduct of a natural wax & is caused by the growth of tiny crystals on the surfaces of the wax. ALL 100% soy wax will frost over time, but luckily frosting is solely an aesthetic issue & DOES NOT affect the way your candle/melt burns or smells.
Q: Why does my candle look like this after a burn? A: The rough, bumpy tops after burning a soy wax candle are caused when the hot wax in the melt pool cools & solidifies at an inconsistent rate. This is a common feature of soy wax. In fact, this is a way to show the candle is made with an all-natural soy wax. It DOES NOT affect the performance of the candle.
Q: IS IT LEGAL & SAFE TO DECORATE CANDLES WITH CRYSTALS, DRIED FLOWERS AND HERBS? A: The short answer is YES. It is legal & a candle made correctly with crystals &/or dried flowers is as safe as any undecorated candle.
As per our "Care & Instructions" we do highly recommend our candle decor to be removed prior to lighting. This is as a precaution.
So why do some people (both buyers & makers) spread untruths about beautifully decorated candles ? One possible reason is that these people have never tried or been trained in candle embellishment. If a candle is made correctly, the decor will not become a fire.
